Coronavirus Confirmed at Vatican; Pope Summons Benny Hinn to Rome
Vatican City
The Pope today summoned Benny Hinn to Rome after several cases of coronavirus were confirmed within the Vatican itself.
Mr Hinn is a famous faith healer who holds “Miracle Crusades” around the world were people come to be cured of all sorts of maladies. He has a large following who believe he is able to use the power of God to heal people.
The Pope specifically requested Mr Hinn be allowed to travel to the Vatican even though Italy is on lock down to contain the virus.
Mr Hinn issued a statement saying that he had his “Holy Spirit machine gun locked and loaded” just waiting on the proper paper work.
At this time it is unclear if this is a major doctrinal or policy shift by the Roman Catholic Church regarding the practice of faith healing.
