Senator Threatens to Hold Breath Until he Gets His Way
Washington DC
Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer issued a deadly threat on the steps of the Supreme Court today. “I will stand here and hold my breath until I die if I don’t get my way in the court” he stated to a rowdy crowd of supporters.
A hush immediately fell over the crowd as they tried to offer their support.
While across the street, counter protesters started up the chant of “Do it now, Do it now!”
Schumer went on to state that he had chosen this final option because none of the other tactics he tried had worked so far.
In weeks past Schumer had told his parents on the court, but the court had mostly ignored them stating that the court would rely on the constitution and not a senator’s parents.
Next he tried taking his ball and going home. In response to that the court issued a statement saying “The high court has more balls than the senator would ever have.”
It remains to be seen if this latest maneuver by the senator will have any results other than opening up a senate seat.
