I am a man with Fibromyalgia.

At least we think that is what I have.

My Downhill Slide

My journey began two years ago when the corner of my mouth and eye went numb. Being a man I didn’t immediately go to the doctor, and waited to see if it would get better.

A couple months later with the numbness slightly expanding I finally decided I better see what modern medicine thought about my problem.

By this time I had realized I had a few more little thing wrong with me.

I was helping a friend clean out his barn, and by mid morning I was completely wiped out. I mean wiped-out! Just two years before I had cut three pick-up loads of firewood in a day, by myself over the course of a winter.

I could hardly move the day after the barn incident.

Right about this time I started working an extra job as a pizza delivery guy. It was great extra money. But…

I started being sleepy all the time, I mean all-the-time. The numbness spread to my legs. Morning became…
