Where do Christians go from Here?
Four scriptural lessons to guide us in these troubled times.
With the current state of politics in the U.S. many Christians feel that more persecution is on it’s way.
The Obama administration was closing in on being overtly hostile to people of faith. For the last for years President Trump has rolled back many of the restrictions put in place by President Obama.
Like him or not it has been clear that at least policy wise, President Trump is the president that has be friendliest to believers. President Biden showed on his first day in office that the Obama era policies were back in force, and that Christians should expect many more restrictions on their faith.
As followers of Christ how do we respond?
As believers we have a choice to make. We can either complain and try at every turn to undermine these changes, or we can accept that God is in control and follow His word in dealing with the situation.
Pray for our Leaders
As much as it pains me to say this, we must pray for the President, Vice President, Congress, and our State leadership.
I have seen posts online where Christians have sworn to pray curses on this administration.
